Threv's Solo work

Coming Soon!

A new project from Threv and Alex Hood

Threv's New(ish) Lab:

I have been upgrading and redoing my lab for the new work. Pictured below is my new and improved setup. A customized Gateway P4 2.4Ghz PC with 2GB RAM and 500GB of onboard storage (an additional terabyte on the Network) is at the bottom left and provides the PC part of the setup. Not Pictured is an HP TC1100 Tablet PC with 1GB RAM that is for composing/relieving boredom on the road. These units runs Propellerhead Reason 3.2 and Ableton Live 5.2.1 as well as a variety of other music software. In the Desk Rack are a Korg M3r, Casio VZ10m, Yamaha MJC 8x8 midi junction Box. On the right are a Kawai 8 Ch Keyboard Mixer, Rane Mojo Series 3q25 EQ and a Korg DRV 2000 multi effects. The MIDI keyboard pictured is an M-Audio Radium 49 , however I have since replaced it with the M-Audio Axiom 49. Mix-down Monitors are M-Audio BX5a. (Logitech Gaming Surround speakers are also present but not used for Music.)

Not visible or partially visible is the Korg 707 Synth, Yamaha DD5 drum pads, Kawai XD-5 Drum Synth, Digitech DSP128 Effects  and Teac 8ch sub-mixer.

These examples encompass Threv's work from the late '80's to Mid '90's. Some of it made its way into the Bergasse 19 Repertoire others just languished on Tapes until widespread use of MP3's and the Internet as a distribution medium.

With the exception of the obvious Guitar parts in a few selections, all these works were recorded to cassette tape utilizing various samplers, synthesizers,  and audio processing gear (much of it several generations behind "state of the art" Conversion to Digital Format occurred in early 2000.

If you like the music or anything else please feel free to send some money my way.

I won't give you a story about wife and kids (though I have them) or starving artist (though I could use a Slurpee right about now) but lets be frank, imagination might be free but new toys aren't, Thanks for your help!
