EVO --Electric Visions of the Obscure

EVO was formed in the late 80's around 88-90 from the Ashes of Jesus in Neon.   Fueled by Alex Hood-Guitars, William Sixlove- Synths Mark Bell -Drums-effects, Cornellius Cline on Bass and Keving Magill on vocals. EVO Kicked out loud Alternative Psychedelic Rock with lots of Effects and Jim Morrison-y sounding singer.  Played 1 gig maybe 2 .Opened for some Alt-Pop band at the Cameo Theater on 1445 Washington Ave. Nov 7 1987.  The Cameo was great place to play as it had decent acoustics and was/is a large yet intimate hall. Perfect for local gigs. Not so much now and it caters to the Hip-hop crowd but times change.
