Stripped Down Patching Hull

Cockpit (Seat removed), With Stereo

800mm Lift Duct,  Vari-liftÔ  splitter plate in up postion (need to replace or glass over foam). Vari-liftÔ  motor off to lower right side.

Cockpit looking Aft. Note Magura Throttle (to be replaced with like) on left and GPL Vari-liftÔ  control on right. (Switch is a Spring-loaded DPDT Momentary switch. Hold up or or down to control Vari-liftÔ  splitter plate.  I have since cleaned out the Dust and Dirt. I also noticed the Engine Mount area may be rotted out, I will perform a little exploratory surgery to determine the extent of the damage. Note the loose Wiring, This will be removed, inspected, (replacing as needed), and reinstalled using Wire looms or lightweight cable enclosures.

Note the two holes in the top hull there are similar holes in lower hull. I have multiple ways to fix this. Either trim and Fiberglass it or cut around the hole in a triangle pattern and replace with a wooden cutout patch and epoxy or Glass-Tape it.

This is where the  Vari-liftÔ  motor is located. Note the deformed Airplane cloth cover. This is from the muffler. It will probably be cut higher when replaced. I may also add a removable Heat Shield to cover the motor instead.
Closer inspection revealed the Exhaust was moved farther out to its present location. I may move it farther still . Also note the wiring in lower left corner this part of the Harness goes the the
Vari-liftÔ  motor and the white navigation light located at the top of the duct

This photo shows the Broken  Duct lip. This lip needs to be repaired before Rudder can be re-attached.
