A PC-SA is an inspection of your computer system to ensure that the four most critical areas of your PC are properly secured:

3.          Your PC and Software has appropriate updates and patches***

4.          The information contained on your PC is saved securely and backed up

This basic review will help you understand what your system deficiencies are and what you need to do to correct them and stay up-to-date. Also included is training on using strong passwords, backup methods, and safe computing practices.   A Security Audit is where you start to protect your system against attack, by learning its vulnerabilities and learning how to correct them.

 An Audit identifies risks on your PC and provides you with the information you need to make informed decisions about how best to defend your PC and its information. 

What Is a Personal Computer Security Audit+?

A PC-SA+ is the complete Security Audit, with more in-depth changes made to your system by the technician. This may include installation of various software pieces on your system that will enable you to stay secure online:

1. Advanced firewall installation such as Zone Alarm or full version that you have purchased separately

2. Trial versions of anti-virus solutions or full versions that you have purchased separately

3. Anti-spyware to help eliminate "spying" on your web-surfing habits and draining system resources

4. Installation of any needed patches to software identified as having vulnerabilities 

Software provided will generally be Freeware or trial versions of commercial software. We will also install commercial software you purchase separately.

What Is a Network Security Audit?

Do you have a Wireless Network? Did you know that hackers could monitor your usage or even “borrow” your internet access while driving through your neighborhood? You may be at risk from hackers and identity thieves who may be monitoring your personal information right now.  

A Net-SA is a companion to the PC-SA+.  It is recommended for networks with 2 or more PCs hooked together sharing files and an internet connection. It will also cover any PCs/Laptops connected via Wireless LAN. It applies the same comprehensive analysis as the PC-SA+, while also addressing the complexities of securing a  network.  Size of network and number of PCs determines pricing.
