This First Picture is the "The triumphant Christian Warrior" From
the GERONA BEATUS of 975 fol. 134v
While it is a Christian Warrior notice the "Moorish" look to his
headgear (Turban or not? if not a Turban then what? and how is it wrapped?) Also
note the Crescents on his Harness . Questions arise though as to cut of his Tunic. At
first glance it seems that it is a simple "T- tunic" but
the Gold Trim down the center leaves one to wonder if that is simply trim or
does it open up all the way down like a jacket? if so is it split in the middle
near the legs for Riding? and the yellow Leggings are they like
trews or are the Hose?

This Next is "Goliaths Challenge" from the Leon Bible of 960 fol.
118v.
Check out Golith's Stylin Tunic. Is it Parti colored or is the yellow thing
hanging off his left arm a Cape or something (Note: this different colored
sleeve is prevalent in much of the manuscript art . So much so, that it makes me wonder
about the Cut that you would need to achieve it. If it is indeed a sleeve and
not a separate Garment
