These Are Representations of Moorish Garb. The first two images are from the
Vatican City, Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, MS. Vat. Arab. 368, fols. 9r
and 10r. the third image is entitled "The Whore of Babylon" from the
Morgan Beatus fol. 194v

These were chosen for the interesting headgear the man on far left is
obviously wearing a turban but what is the man to his right wearing? The
guy on the right is obviously the Lord or Patron they seem to be playing
to him and his Headdress is more elaborate. |

Same Guy (leader patron whatever..)apparently on the left. Note that
he seems to be wearing a different colored tunic on the bottom than
what is on his Torso. Check out the musician, he has has a big ol'
honkin turban. Notice the Round Collars on all the Tunics which seem to
very loose flowing. also the bared and unveiled heads of the ladies of the
court (harem??) Also just what is that vaguely bong-like thing being
handed to our Prince???? |
Note the Crenellations at the top of her Headdress (with the Crescent in
center) also dig the Shoes these folks are wearing. Notice the Left
Shoulder of the dude in purple on the right, Is that Trim or is that an
epaulette of Some Kind?. Notice also the appearance of 2 robes of an indeterminate
