Greetings Friends.For those who did not already know it, several months ago I
volunteered to take up the task of pulling together the new Heralds Handbook for the
Kingdom. I have put together a preliminary outline and have approached a few folk whom I
thought would do a good job of writing articles for the handbook. I am still waiting for
replies from most of them, but I also want to give other heralds of our Kingdom the
opportunity to provide input. The input I am looking for comes in two forms.
The first is commentary and suggestions on the outline. I have covered the basic tasks
of the herald, but have left the details out. What I would like is some input on anything
I may have left out as well as any detailed issues under each topic I've already listed.
My goal is to list as many items as possible, though they all might not be covered in the
final product. Any tidbit/hint/tip is welcome.
Secondly, if there are any folk who would like to volunteer to write an article, please
do not hesitate to get in touch with me. Specifically, I am looking for someone who is
willing to write up an article on the Local Heralds Office. My outline lists me as writing
that article, but as I am writing a couple of other articles as well as pulling the rest
of the handbook together, I would like to give some other herald the opportunity to
contribute. In the event that some of the folk I have approached are unable to assist me,
I will be looking for others to fill in. To assist in accomplishing my task, and to help
foster the participation of all those who are interested, I have put together a web site
with the preliminary outline and what note I have as yet. As the handbook begins to take
