We are back from Panhandle Skirmishes all safe and sound. We defeated Meridies soundly in 6 out of 7 seven battles. Our Meridian friends fought fiercely yet none can deny the power of Trimarian Warriors defending their home soil. In attendance from South Keep were Lady Elena, Ulfkell,  myself, Frederick and his lady Lady Tirzah. M\any Great deeds of prowess and Chivalry were Displayed on the Field by our Shire members, Lady Elena pictured at right was personally chosen by his Majesty to bear the Trimarian Banner into battle. Also notice to the right of Elena brave young Ulfkell receiving a token and blessing from Her most Glorious Majesty, Queen Astrith.

Lord Frederick fought as true Trimarian swamplord. Nor only did he fight in all seven battles (and defeated many men) he also in pursuit of a quest, fought 22 additional warriors, 3 rounds each. Many of whom were great knights and Counts and  such. He has the Stamina of a bull and a Heart as great to match.

Young Ulfkell acquitted himself admirably at this his first engagement against a foreign army. He he was always at my side throwing many blows and slaying many men. I had most excellent fun and proud to have been called up in court as part of the Trimarian Archers who received the Triamarian Leon de Or. And Award that is given out to those who show extreme bravery and skill during the fighting that day.  There are many more stories that can be told. Come down to fighter practice and ask!.

And if this sounds like fun to you then consider making the Trip to Gulf Wars Next Year.  ITs tuely a premier event and one that should not be missed.

From the Seneschal: Oct 29th 2000 Gregorian

We had a great meeting/ fighter Practice last Sunday at the Park.  As you can see from the Photo the turnout was great. South Keep has not had so many folks armoured and on the field at one time. It looks like we will have a good turn out for the Melees at Greynolds Park the Weekend of the 14th.

We discussed the various upcoming events:
- Baronial Bash next weekend
- Sangre's Bardic Event here at Camp Greynolds the week after.
- Panhandle Skirmishes in Oldenfeld following that.
So October is going to be a busy month.
Also discussed were the Rattan Purchases that Milan is doing (Sunday was the Deadline for Orders I think).  And Adding a another fighter practice on Saturday Mornings. For those that just can't get enough.
Another Big Item was creating a Small Day Pavilion  from the cloth in the Shire stores. Creating a period Long table for Communal Meals. There seemed to be some interest in these projects so If I could have some Volunteers to step up take charge of these project the sooner we'll have these Items ready for Say Martinmas Moot. in November. Other Items discussed were a Cleaning day in Milan's Garage to cleanup the Armoury and provide space for the Shire's Gear after I transfer the office over to him.  Its A Busy Month with lots to do So lets have some fun!

From the Seneschal: Sep 28th 2000 Gregorian

There will be a meeting/ fighter Practice this Sunday at the Park. Items for Discussion Will be Baronial Bash next weekend, Sangre's Bardic Event here at Camp Greynolds the week after. Which by the way, we will be sponsoring the fighting, So lets make sure we all go to that one. there will be singing, Dancing and general Merriment. Which is all well and good for after that is PANHANDLE SKIRMISHES! If you can't make it to Mississippi for Gulf Wars the Come to this event in N Florida. There will be plenty of large scale melees with  Combat Archery! Lets go up there and make a good showing as a Shire!

From the Seneschal: Sep 14th 2000 Gregorian

Hail Bytor and Astrith King and Queen of Trimaris!
Hail Mittion and Dulcia Crown Crown Prince and Princess of Trimaris!

Coronation and Crown Tourney is now done and we have all returned home safe and sound. Much fun was had by all despite the oppressive heat and terrible distance of our campsite from the main festivities. The Shire camped together in large group for the first time in several years. This was a most enjoyable thing. Though the weather was horrid, we managed to entertain ourselves in camp quite well. Though perhaps on Sunday evening a few us were a little "too" entertained. Next time, stick to one kind of beverage when playing games that involve coin of the realm (BIG GRINS) I truly hope they have been able to recover.

In attendance were our Deputy Seneschal Milan and his lady Olivia, Vern and Sharon, Lawrence (Squishy banana) and his page Kyle (a newcomer) Ulfkell and myself.
Also in attendance were two new members of our Shire, Frederick and Tirzah two delightful gentles who have recently emigrated here from the Barony of Storvick in the Kingdom of Atlantia.
I would also like to welcome another newcomer to the SCA, Henry, who works with Vern. Henry entertained us all with his golden singing voice!  (Just wait till we teach him SCA songs...).   Kyle, our other newcomer worked very hard as page to Lawrence and bravely served feast on both days. He did so well that he was asked to serve their Majesties at High Table! What an honor, way to go Kyle.

Many thanks to Milan and Olivia for providing the food for our party. Also thanks to Steve for helping out with the cooking and cleaning chores. all of your efforts did not go unnoticed.

Several things did come to mind though while we were camping. If we'd like to continue to camp as a shire at large Kingdom events then there are some things that we may wish to consider purchasing and or making:

1. Two "Day Pavilions'. One large one to use at camp to escape the blazing Sun and hang out in. The other would be slightly smaller so that it could be setup near the fighting field and give us a place to rest, put armor water etc, that is nearer to the Event activities (Center of "town" so-to-speak). The Shire does have Material that would be suitable for this purpose (if a bit ugly).
2. Larger collapsible table to serve meals on
3. Wooden Barrel with spigot  to store water in instead of having ugly plastic Zephyr hills containers.
 4. Everyone chipping in to rent a golf cart to take us to and fro  on this site (La-No-Che). Due to the location of our camping area we ended up using our P.O.V's to get around. But the use of cars on site is very limited so golf carts are a much better option.
Much of the aforementioned items can be purchased for the Shire from our available funds, except for the Golf Cart rental which would have to come from our own pockets. The next event at La No Che will be Martinmas Moot in November (10-12). So that gives us a couple of months to get something together if we want to.

As you can see from the beginning of this missive that Count Mittion Wyndrider is now Crown Prince again. It was a hard fought battle with Duke Lewellyn. Both combatants using Great-swords  smote ate each other in such an elegant  display of power, grace and prowess. but in the end Count Mittion won and took the coronet.

Here is an eye-witness account of the "Death" of King Gunnar as told by Duncan the Etc.!

The King is dead, long live the king, etc.(I'm still trying to figure that one out) King Gunnar the First of Trimaris succummed today to wounds recieved at Pennsic. It was said that he got them fighting some near-invulnerable beast (Micheal of Bedford perhaps ??)

Queen Anastasia being both angry and filled with grief drank a potion and followed King Gunnar into death. It was rumored that the potion was the distilled venom of at least a half dozen Peerage meetings held in an un-named kingdom. May they rest well in Heaven, Valhalla, or someplace in between (with condo's ?)
The Queen's body was carried away by the Crown Prince, Earl Sir (oops, I thought you had her) Bytor [Now King Bytor] with the able assistance of Count Sir Mittion. The King's body was carried off of the field (on his shield more or less) by his retainers, and some volunteers from Harper's Raid. Few if any know what the Queen's last words were to the King, but Gunnar died with a smile (smirk ?) on his face.

This report was brought to you slightly tongue in cheek, by Duncan the etc.

Little News this Month as we prepare for our Murder Mystery event  at the end of June. Sviatioslav made some excellent suggestions concerning the story that I would like to share with you all at the next meeting. I look forward to our putting on this event. Its going to be very fun. And A learning experience for many of you. Trimaris Memorial Tourney is memorial day Weekend next week. Alex, Noel and I will be traveling up there to aid our knight, Sayyid Kalim who will be fighting for Countess Nadira, for the crown of Trimaris. Crown Tourney is a wonderful event to go to. There will be some nice shopping, Bardic performance two Feasts and all manner of divertissements. And A good time is generally had by all. It is also a great way to meet folks from all over the Kingdom.  It is  a camping trip but the new facilities at La-no-che are welcome and the Kingdom is settling into the camp quite nicely.

A copy of the Gulf Wars Video Segment done by CBS is available. Just Give me a blank VHS cassette or if you prefer an blank CD-ROM disk. The clip is available as an 80MB MPEG movie. Well we have returned from the War and there are many stories to be told! I good Time was had by all. The weather held out for the most part and it really did not start to get bad till Saturday night. Magnus, Elena and I fought like tigers in all the battles. The shires siege weapon, built by Lawrence and Milan was easily the most powerful weapon there, handily out ranging all enemy siege weapons and archers. Lawrence especially distinguished himself on the field during the Archers only battle, firing his newly made crossbow with deadly accuracy. Lady Elena fought many brave knights and was also representative of one the virtues of chivalry (Charity/Largesse), as she fought a quest knight. Ulfkell was indispensable as it was he who helped keep us watered, well supplied and prepared for almost any eventuality. I was selected to be a possible combatant to represent Trimaris in the Champions Battle. Though I was not chosen to fight it indeed was a great honor to have been asked.

Even though we (Heavy Weapons) were gravely outnumbered, We fought like dogs and died like men. Same for our Light weapons fighters. We gave the Ansteorrans a good fight all the way down.We did win the Archers only battle, alas it was not a warpoint event. But Trimarian Artists, Equestrians and Volunteers saved the day allowing the war to end in a tie.  It was a great event and I hope more of can make it next year.

Some words about the war from His Majesty Mittion:

Unto the good and noble people of Trimaris,

As you have no doubt already been made aware, the weather did indeed hold, and we thank you for your concern. I would like to say that every Trimarian fought with the honor, courage, and skill of the heroes of legend. I would personally thank all those who attended and contested in defense of our great Kingdom. To you belong the honors, for it is you who earned them. Never before have I witnessed Trimarians come together with so great a purpose. It is my hope that in years to come, we will heed the lessons we have learned at this war. We have made great friends and won much acclaim. These things should be greatly valued and should never be taken for granted. All those who attended or supported this effort should be commended on a job well done.

We faced a host prepared for war, much as I had warned in previous missives, however unbeknownst to us, they had secured most of the Known world as allies. Even though our allies were few, they were steadfast, and we owe them our gratitude. We were defeated in the Champions battles, both heavy and light, even though our warriors strove mightily. There were many efforts made, which are worthy of note, but one stands clearly, as a shining example to us all. The now Honorable Lord Yoan Moon Yang, did set himself apart with both his prowess and courtesy upon the field. In all my years in the society, I have never witnessed a more honorable contest, and for that we would thank him. We were defeated in the Resurrection battle, which again took place in the ravine. Our warriors fought hard, and with great endurance, but in the end, the numbers of the foe were telling. We were also defeated upon the field, even though our strategy was sound and well executed, the allies of Ansteorra again proved their worth, as they carried the day for Ansteorra. Our foes were successful in keeping us out of the castle for the first time in many years, by using a desperate gambit, which demonstrated clearly their fear of Trimarian siege craft. Our foes sallied forth at the very start of the battle and attacked our feared archers and siege weapons, destroying most of them. This stroke of luck for Ansteorra enabled them to retain the castle in a hard fought battle. They were however, unsuccessful in taking the castle from us, as we held the walls and gates with great resolve. Our foes brought many siege weapons with them, with crews expertly trained in their usage. It would behoove us to quicken our efforts in this endeavor if we are to prevail next year.

We did take the Equestrian point, and all of the Trimarian Calvary should be proud of their accomplishments. Most of our riders are new to tourney, and we are sure that they will meet again next year to once again take the field against our foes and win the day. We did also take the volunteer points and I cannot adequately express how proud I am of those who gave so unselfishly of their time at the war to this endeavor.

The prevailing feeling at the war this year was one of friendship and camaraderie. Many great deeds were done on both sides of the battle lines, and I hope this server will be filled with these tales. We won the performance part of the Arts competition, and that is no surprise to me, as all should know that Trimaris has the best performers in the known world, however, even though it comes as no surprise, I would thank all of those who put forth their efforts in the Arts and hope that  you will continue in that same tradition of excellence.

It is my most sincere hope that all that attended the war had the best possible time. I greatly appreciate all of the effort put forth to make this the best Gulf War to date. Trimaris is blessed with the greatest people in the known world, and it is good that we have the yearly opportunity to prove it.

With love of Trimaris,

Mittion

If you have not yet attended the Florida Ren Faire at Quiet Waters Park, I highly recommend that you do so. Magnus, his wife and I went on opening day and had a great time.  Feb 19 Saturday, Some of us will be going to the Fighters and Riders revel in Ft Meyers. This promises to be a Fun event. And one of your last chances to get some Melee practice in before the War.

NEW FIGHTER!!
Congratulations are in order for Ulfkell (Alex Bond). He became authorized in Heavy Combat at the the Scots-Welsh War held two weeks ago. At 16 he is the youngest authorized fighter in the Shire's history. He was authorized by the Trimarian Earl Marshal  Sir Takamatsu, and Sir Kaddud. He fought his authorization bouts with his Sword Brother Magnus MacRoss and Lord Ethanial of House Wyndrider. Afterwards he acquitted himself most chivalrously on the Melee field and fought all day. We are very proud of our latest Trimarian Warrior.

The Event at Sea March Last Weekend was Great! If you didn't go you missed a good one. There was much pageantry and many great Deeds of Arms and High Chivalry. Magnus MacRoss, Lady Elena des Nachts and I represented the Fighters from our Shire. Magnus and I were accompanied by our ladies Kaleigh (Magnus' wife), and Tatiana (mine). Lady Elena fought for a newcomer to our Shire, the maiden Ainet, whose first event this was. Thanks to Lady Elizabeth from Sangre del Sol for providing garb. Our very own, Honorable Lady Tanarian was also there admirably filling in at the Last Minute as the Site Herald for the event.
The Ladies sat in the Ladies Gallery and were fed and entertained in the manner that only an event of this nature could provide.  While there was much rain throughout much of the fighting, our spirits were not dampned and Chivarly and Honor reigned supreme.
This was the kind of event we need more of. Many thanks should go to the Shire of Sea March and the Autocrat Lady Caitlin O'Drogheda for putting on such a delightful event. Congratulations to(Lady) Caitlin as well for she was granted an Award of Arms by Their Majesties at Court that evening. "You go girl!"

We had an excellent turnout at the the first one at Greynolds park in the last week in June.  Their Royal Highnesses and many of the fighters from Sea March and Sangre Del Sol  were in attendance.
I would also like to note how pleased  I  was at the number of fighters from South Keep that went to the joint practice in Sea March   at the end of July.

The past 15 days have flown by, and I am way behind on my personal schedule. The point being, March 8 is right around the corner and time is flying by. So let me know if there are any conflicts, would like to have everybody there as death will be the only acceptable excuse. Remember who's doing all the cooking.

Gulf Wars Prepulf Wars Prep, Advance food reservations with the South Keep Encampment are being handled by Tim this year. South Keep will most likely be Camping with Sayyid Kalim and Tribe SHA at the end of Queens highway this year. In addition I have promised him that South Keep's militia Will be fighting under his Command. Also the King has asked that All Shires produce at least 50 Combat Arrows as part of the Royal Levy for our Archery Contingent This Year. Since we have Archers going I do not foresee this to be a problem. I would however like to be able to present His Majesty with an accurate count of the ammunition we are bringing. Let it not be said the South Keep cannot Arm itself!

Volunteeringolunteering: Yes Sign up to Volunteer at the War! Even a few hours will help and it is Fun too. Also Part of the Gulf Wars Profits goes back directly to groups who put in volunteer hours. That Translates into more $$ for the Shire so We can do more fun stuff this year  (See Below) Volunteer its Good for you , your Shire and Trimaris!

From the Seneschal: 1 Feb 1999...

Greetings All!

We have Just Come back From Scots/Welsh War!. Noel, Alex, Lady Elena, Norma, Dan and myself went to this new site in Paisley which is about 20 Miles Northwest of Deland . The site was very nice and they have lots of room, though it is primitive camping (No Cabins). TMT (Memorial Day weekend)  will be held at this site on another part of the 1500acre Boy Scout Reservation. This site is very nice and may replace We-Wa. It is further north by almost 1.5  hours but will probably be well worth it.

NEXT Weekend (Feb 5-6-7) is the Gulf Wars War College it will be held at the Same site. I will not be attending but Noel- Eternal083@aol.com    and
Alex-   Alucard1013@hotmail.com
are planning on going. If anybody else wishes to go you may wish to coordinate with them as they know the route. There will be fighter Practice/ Shire Meeting This Sunday (the 7th) at Merrie Christmas Park. in South Miami at 2:00PM. I hope to see you all there.  Those that Arn''t going to War College

From the Seneschal: 10 Jan 1999

Happy Holidays and Joyous Greetings this season! I will keep this short as there is very little to report. Money has been received from the Kingdom for an event that we did and the Deposit for our Harvest Burning Event has been returned. We are now better off fiancially as we head into the new year. There was some miscommunication with  Sangre del Sol concerning the Joint Fighter Practice at Greynolds last Sunday  but all of us who attended had a great time and fought until we dropped. Practice will be back at Merrry Xmas Park this up and coming Sunday.

Holiday break: Whether or not people wish to practice on Dec 27 is up to them. if people are willing I will make myself available, If not Then We'll resume the next weekend.

From the Seneschal: 10 Dec 1998

I'd like to thank everyone who attended and especially those who helped out at the event. an extra big thanks to Alex Bond, my right arm for this one and to  our feastcrat,  Tim Levandowski who makes difficult look easy and keeps the autocrat happy. Also thanks to Milan, Vern and  Lawrence "Cannon-Boy" and Little Lady Elisabeth (from  Sangre) who stayed to cleanup.

Everyone seems to have a good time and were thoroughly fed and watered (jelloed??) I am also happy to report that we took in $441.45. After Expenses the shire made appx $130.00!!. ?this is good the last Local event we held (Sea Dragon '96) only made $9.65, This was quite an improvement. However Nancy, Tim and Neal made donations which helped out alot. (Candy, hay, Misc food items).

I 'd like to do another one in January.. 12th night celebration. For this next one though we could use more help cleaning up the site on Sunday. Some of the people who stayed to help (Lawrence and Vern) had a looong drive to Key Largo after we finished at 2:00PM. This will be discussed at the next meeting as well as pros and con of the event. Which brings me to.... the Shire meeting is this Tuesday at my house. Hope to see you all there

I'd like to welcome Ld Olgar Bearclaw from Darkwater to South Keep. Ld Olgar is squired to Duke Baldar Longstrider (House Asgard) and fought bravely with the other members of our Shire against the odious forces of  Sangre' del Sol and their mercenary throng. While we were defeated in battle, we were not defeated in spirit as was evidenced my the humor and mirth in the feast hall that night. However we must redouble our efforts at fighter practice so that we may be ready once again to defend ourselves against these aggressors who have vowed to take our castle on the other side of the park.

From the Seneschal: 16 Sept 1998

Those of you who have not already heard, Fall Coronation was a Real Blowout, literally. It has Pretty much been dubbed "Fall Coronado 98".It reminded me eerily of a miniature Hurricane Andrew.  This due to one possibly several small cyclones hitting the Campsite early Sunday Evening. As it turned out The Shires of South Keep, Swamp Keep, House Trahern and many other encampments were at/near Ground Zero of a waterspout on the lake that blew its way onto land. That land being our Camp Site. Neal and I watched from our respective tents the incredible wall of wind and water come off the lake and onto land. It was then that my pavilion was blown apart and I was otherwise preoccupied.

There will be many stories to tell and I will post Reliable versions of the event as seen by other eyewitnesses. But for the Most part My tent was collapsed by the Wind (While I was in it!), Claude's tent was squashed flat by a HUGE branch that was ripped of a tree. luckily Claude was not there. (Some of us did not know Claude was not there but that is another story....) Neal's English Civil War Tent Stayed up but was narrowly missed by the aforementioned tree.

Many of Clan Trahern's tents were wiped out but were restored/rebuilt and camp dinner was made. Our own Phil kept all our spirits up, singing many songs and entertaining us all. I would like to thank ALL of the people from all over the Kingdom, some I knew, most I didn't, who came by on "Disaster Patrol" and helped look for people/tents gear or provided food or other aid. Your help truly shows the good spirits and kind hearts of our Kingdom . VIVAT TRIMARIS!

From the Seneschal: 16 Aug 1998

Here it is the Middle of August and Soon it will be time for Fall Coronation. At Camp We-Wa in Apopka. This Promises to be a Fun event with lots of Classes so I hope To See you all there. The persons Holding this Event have agreed to Donate some Money to Shire for our Assistance. especially needed will be entertainers (45 min) and Servers (Bus Help)(5-6 hours) and General Ambiance persons. this will be a nice way For the Shire to Make Some Extra Money Without holding our own events. From the Seneschal: 08 Aug 1998

Summer has been upon us with  an oppressive Vengeance. however that has only slightly dampened out spirits. Fighter practices continue and the Meetings at my house also Continue. Starting this August the Shire Meetings will be moving to every other week. Fighter Practices will be moved to Merry Xmas Park inb S. Miami. Consult this calendar for details. (The Postal Mailing list is almost done- A paper newsletter is almost there!). We also send best wishes and congratulations to  Lady Elena des Nachts. She has finally Authorized in Sword and Shield, and has gone off to fight in the Pennsic War, bearing the Shire's Battle Flag! We wish her good luck and good Hunting!

From the Seneschal: 27 July 1998

Attendance at Last Tuesday nights meeting was better, but there are still alot of you out there who we have yet to see..If these times aren't proving to be good for the majority of you please let me know, there is room to be flexible. If you you just need a reminder or a phone call let me or Kiry know we'll be happy to give you a call. Next Tuesday on the 21st we will be having a craft-night. mostly for leather projects minor armour repair, and maybe even some sewing! We have some materials and tools for your use so don't be shy!! Also, Sayyid Kalim from the Shire of Trios may be coming down for our practice this Sunday, This will be an excellent learning opportunity. Neal and Kalim may also be doing Authorizations so if you need to get authorized before Pennsic this may be your last chance

Yours in Service

Lord William de Cordoba

P.S. More Demos!! this from Lady Sanchia of the Shire of Sangre Del Sol in Broward:

This is to remind you that we have demos coming up this weekend (18th) and the next (25th).

The one at North Regional Library (18th) is from 1 to 3, fighter likely outside. The library is on Coconut Creek just west of the turnpike.

The one at Main Library (25th) is from 2 to 3, fighting inside on the 6th floor in air conditioning. Main is located in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Go east on Broward Blvd, and turn right on Andrews Ave.

Regarding bribes, you will have to take a promissory note. The beef jerky proved so popular at last week's demo that, by the time I wrested it away from a young Scadian who shall be known forevermore as Greedy Guts, there was only an ounce left.

I would have started a fresh batch tonight but I couldn't find thin-sliced meat in the stores. But fear not, I will be making this stuff by the pound, in different experimental flavors no less, over the next three weeks. I'm stocking up for a long trek that includes mingling with a herd of Kaufmans.

Lady Sanchia the Sly

mka Bev Kaufman

Peasant of Sangre del Sol

First Off I'd Like to say Thank you to Hugo Neal and Tim for being able to come out to the Demo at Belen Jesuit Prep. They fought like beasts and did a fabulous job as usual. I'd also like to thank Coqui Ross for inviting us and his class for the wonderful gift of an maille, squires-style, chain for my-self and since Hugo was deemed the the Winner of the Tourney, one for him as well. Who knows when he gets back to the West a knight will let him wear it! (I believe they (Knights)are standing in line out there), He should be leaving for good this Time....Boo hiss, fighter practice will not be the same!

In any event a fabulous time was had by all, Though we could use more of our folk to help with "crowd" control. But we are getting better at our demo format. Hopefully we'll be able to show off our "kinder-gentler" side in the future. I'd also like to Say that the Shire of Sangre del Sol has invited us to play at some demos that they are doing this month, The dates are 11th, 18th and 25th. Location TBA in Broward. Let me know if your interested. More to come on this Website when the photos go up See ya next Tuesday.

I remain yours in service,

Lord William de Cordoba

Old news (but good news replaced on July 09 '98)

Well as You may already well know, we won Panhandle Skirmishes. But the it was the weather that truly was the foe. I have been in the midst of massive changes to the Website as most of you may noticed. Besides Changing the "look", we have also changed addresses. This New Home gives us alot more Webspace to put Archives databases and what-not. It will also allow for many other Technical enhancements that that make the Site a Snap to Manage.

I will be bringing up the idea of Getting the Shire's own URL, E.G.www.southkeep.org.  however this needs to be registered and financed. the initial charge is $70.00 for 2 years and $35.00 per year thereafter. It has been proposed that we offer Individual Virtual  Shire address for South Keep's members. This way if some one at an event asks you for your Email address, you can give them a South Keep address that will redirect to your "real" Email address.

For example: Your Real Email address is msmithe@aol.com.  but your South Keep address would be ladymary@southkeep.org.. In this way you can set your Email filters to sort SCA traffic from your regular mail. and its easy to remember. If this idea is of interest please let me know. Special thanks to H. Lady, Tanarian who came up with this idea!

I also hope to see many of you at St. Jemome's Study it should be very interesting. Call early if you need crash space. No one except Elisabeth really seemed interested in Caravanning so you all are on your own. Of course you can still call me before I leave for info.

The Former was in total state of Disrepair and the Nylon cloth of the Chute was disintegrating. (I remember when we "acquired" it in 1982!). I still have the wooden poles and stakes though. The Latter Pavilion was destroyed due to the tentpoles Rusting in the bag and ruining the Shelter. Due to their Cost and their lack of Use I do not for see purchasing another in the near future.
