Query Language

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

armor weapons

finds documents containing 'information' or 'weapons'

Armor or weapons

same as above

armor and weapons

finds documents containing both 'information' and 'weapons'

armor not weapons

finds documents containing 'information' but not 'weapons'

(armor not weapons) and helm

finds documents containing 'hel', plus 'armor' but not 'weapons'

web*

finds documents containing words starting with 'web'
